One of the most common, overlooked, habits we have as human beings is rushing. We rush plans, decision making, and our own progress. When we rush, we breed anxiety, placing enormous amounts of pressure on ourselves, thus forgoing the opportunity to experience the beauty of each moment. Rushing creates hinderances, for continuously growing, and seasoned musicians. Music should be a peaceful outlet. No matter what stage you're in, I encourage you to be present, and to take in every aspect of the process. Seize the opportunity to embrace the essence of the beauty of music and all that it comes with. Whether it be a lesson developed by a challenge, or the unveiling of a gift you didn't know you had in you, you'll miss it all if you don't take your time.

Keep going!
